Here's What's Next...Part 2

So it seems that my somewhat unfounded claims to create a movement have been met with some form of skepticism. Albeit, most people just want to know why the heck would i just put up a six word post. So now i'll try to explain... :)

Why NAMPJ?

Step 1. Progessive implies a continual change. It's a constant reflection and evaluation of goals and objectives, and an ebb and flow of Judaism that is unique. It incites us to always look forward, to learn and take action. To find out what it truly means to be a Jew, and to constantly challenge ourselves.

Step 2. A continual challenge. How often have we heard the words "choice through knowledge?" How often have we actually been given the opportunity to make an informed choice? How often when we make that choice do we get looked down upon, or criticized for our decision because it's, "not Reform"? Instead of Nishma v'naseh (we will listen and we will do), it'll be Nilmad V'Naseh (We will study, and we will do). We will no longer accept, "because that's the way it is," for an answer. We will challenge ourselves; we won't be afraid of change. We won't be content with the status quo.
